Position: Co-Director, Leading Actress (Alice James)

Introduction:

Adapted from Susan Sontag's Alice in Bed, the play is a fantasy based on the life of Alice James, the sister of writer Henry James and psychologist William James. The script blends reality and fantasy to depict Alice’s inner struggle and her yearning for freedom during more than twenty years of bedridden illness. The stage presentation incorporates multimedia elements, including experimental imagery. Through her unique body language and voice, Alice conveys the pain, sadness, and anger of a woman confined to a bed, exploring both the power and limitations of imagination.
